1. Anne in a low-maintenance gravel garden that she designed.  The posts give a clean and stylish look to this area as well as linking the house and patio into the rest of the garden.

2. A natural look in this wildlife-friendly water garden.  The circular pond has a neat edging of brick pavers and a deck from which to investigate tadpole goings-on.  The planting is suitable for the very wet soil in this particular garden.

3. A secret retreat in an English garden.  The paving is simple and traditional and the planting is mainly evergreens and scented plants.  Just the spot to take a cup of tea or a glass of wine on a fine summer's day.
