Award winning designer working in the Manchester, Cheshire and South Lancashire areas. (Winner of the BBC Gardeners' World Student Design Competition, 1999; RHS Silver Medal at the RHS Tatton Park Flower Show, 2001).

Detailed Information

Qualifications: Qualifications include a Higher Diploma in Garden Design, and the RHS General Certificate of Horticulture.

Service Offered: I offer the following services, following full discussion of your requirements;
1. Design - a full Masterplan, to scale, of the proposed design. Fixed price quoted after initial visit.
2. Design and Construction - As above, then construction to a fixed price quoted after design is complete.
3. Design Consultancy - An 'ideas' service charged at an hourly rate for those not requiring a full design.

Memberships: Member of Japanese Garden Society

Design Specialities: All styles and sizes of garden catered for. I have specialist knowledge of Japanese Garden Design for those wanting a real sense of Japan in the garden.

1. The Show Garden at the RHS Tatton Park Flower Show 2001, entitled
'The Tea Garden', a small Japanese Garden, winning an RHS Silver Medal.

2. Part of a re-designed garden behind a Victorian house, showing the new 'Pavilion', new lawn and borders, here taken from a re-built raised terrace in terracotta tiles. (Shown shortly after construction).

3. A modern style, easy care garden in a new executive housing development, replacing the plain grass left by the builders!

Note that the photo was taken immediately after construction in late Autumn - the newly planted trees will screen nearby houses in Spring.
